You will find two links in your member control panel to Edit and Add Temple Contacts. (Please note, if you have not been assigned access to edit chapter information, you will not have these links.) The Edit Temple Contacts link leads to a list of contacts associated with your temple.
From the temple contact list, the Delete link will permanently delete the contact, the Edit link leads to a page to edit the contact. The select list in the Contact column allows you to designate the order of your contacts - Primary, Secondary, etc. This also sets the order in which they display on your Temple of Isis web page.
The Add Temple Contact and Edit Temple Contact forms are slightly different than the Edit My Info form. They have three radio buttons to allow or deny the contact access to edit temple information and contact information, add, edit, or delete blog entries, and edit the temple web page. This is to allow you to assign specific maintenance tasks to various members of their chapter, who each have their own login information. When setting access permissions for a contact,
An important item in the Add/Edit Temple Contact form is the selection of the Display Email button. This button determines whether the actual email address is displayed in the contact information portion of your temple web page. If you choose to set this to "no", visitors will still be able to send messages to this contact. Instead of displaying the email address, a link is displayed that leads to a contact form. The contact form sends the visitor's inquiry to the contact, but their email address is never revealed to the visitor until the contact actually replies to the email. If you set this button to "yes", the contact's email address is publicly visible. We recommend setting the Display Email button to "no" to avoid the potential for spam.
