The second link below the Account Information bar is a link to Edit Chapter Info. (Please note, if you have not been assigned access to edit chapter information you will not have this link, see contacts.) The Edit Chapter Info link leads to a simple form to edit the main chapter information, independent of temple contacts.
When you initially join the Temple of Isis web site, your name, email address, and other data goes into both the Temple information and Primary Contact information. It is important to remember that your login information is related to the contact information, not the Temple Chapter information. You can set the name and email address of the temple different than the primary contact information. If you change the email address in the temple information using the Edit Chapter Info form, a verification email is automatically dispatched to the new address. The temple account will remain "Unverified" until the recipient re-verifies the email address by clicking the link in the verification email. The temple web page, blog, and contact information will not display until the new email address is verified.
An important item in the Edit Chapter Info form is the selection of the Display Email button. This button determines whether the actual email address is displayed in the chapter information portion of your temple web page. If you choose to set this to "no", visitors will still be able to contact you. Instead of displaying the email address, a link is displayed that leads to a contact form. The contact form sends you the visitor's inquiry, but the email address is never revealed to them until you actually reply to the email. If you set this button to "yes", the email address is publicly visible. We recommend setting the Display Email button to "no" to avoid the potential for spam.
